Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance
ISACA offers a very strong medical insurance plan through BlueCross BlueShield. Further, ISACA pays 100% of the premium for employee-only coverage and pays for the major portion of the cost for dependent (e.g. spouse, domestic partners and children) medical, dental and vision coverages.
ISACA provides at no cost to the employee Short Term Disability and Long-Term Disability benefits.
Group Life Insurance
ISACA provides at no cost to the employee Life Insurance Coverage and Accidental Death and Dismemberment coverage.
Voluntary insurance policies, such as hospital intensive care, accident, hospital indemnity, cancer and many more, help complement major medical policies. AFLAC products pay cash directly to the policyholder:
- Out-of-pocket expenses
- Day-to-day living expenses (i.e. mortgage, rent, etc.)
- Loss of income of you or your spouse
ISACA offers a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) that allows staff to withhold money from their paycheck on a pretax basis to pay for unreimbursed medical and dependent care expenses; this ultimately means more take-home pay for staff.

To promote professional development, ISACA employees are eligible for 50% tuition reimbursement on approved degree programs and/or individual college-level courses.

ISACA subscribes to Lynda.com training and development services. Lynda.com provides learning topics covering software, technology, creative and business skills to help individuals achieve their personal and professional goals.
Employee Assistance Program
ISACA recognizes that it can be difficult to balance the demands of work with those of your personal life. The work-life balance EAP provides unlimited telephone consultations with master’s-level consultants, web-based tools and online information for staff and their family members. Services include:
- Coping with stress, anxiety and depression
- Organization tips and prioritization ideas
- Caring for an elderly relative or finding senior assistance
- Raising children and finding child care in your area
- Dealing with a family member who has an addiction
- Improving your health or controlling a chronic condition
- Getting out of debt and managing your finances

Corporate Social Responsbility Program
After more than two decades of growth, ISACA is fortunate to be in a strong position from both financial and reputational standpoints. ISACA’s growth, higher profile and increased credibility have not only placed the organization on a global stage, they have also afforded it the opportunity to expand its reach within the professions and business markets it currently serves, and those it hopes to serve in the future.
The association’s driving strategy—Strategy 2022—has given ISACA an external focus that can be extended beyond the partnerships and new constituencies under consideration to include a broader view of “giving back” to the local communities in which its employees reside through its new corporate social responsibility (CSR) program. This new program gives ISACA the opportunity to make a bold statement about its priorities beyond the activities specified by its mission.
Under this program employees can donate up to 24 hours per calendar year toward a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, and receive pay for approved activities
