Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance
ISACA offers a very strong PPO and HMO medical insurance plan through BlueCross and BlueShield of IL. Further, ISACA pays 100% of the premium for employee-only coverage and pays for a major portion of the cost for dependent (e.g. spouse, domestic partners and children) medical, dental and vision coverages. Additionally, ISACA offers Telemedicine through Teladoc for all employees and their dependents enrolled in the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of IL medical plan.
ISACA provides at no cost to the employee Short Term Disability and Long-Term Disability benefits.
Group Life Insurance
ISACA provides at no cost to the employee Life Insurance Coverage and Accidental Death and Dismemberment coverage.
ISACA offers a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) that allows staff to withhold money from their paycheck on a pretax basis to pay for out of pocket medical and dependent care expenses; this ultimately means more take-home pay for staff.
Employee Assistance Program
ISACA recognizes that it can be difficult to balance the demands of work with those of your personal life. The work-life balance EAP provides up to three face-to-face or phone sessions for assessment, consultation, and referral services per item per year, web-based tools and online information for staff and their family members. Services include:
- Coping with stress, anxiety and depression
- Organization tips and prioritization ideas
- Caring for an elderly relative or finding senior assistance
- Raising children and finding child care in your area
- Dealing with a family member who has an addiction
- Improving your health or controlling a chronic condition
- Getting out of debt and managing your finances

Supplemental Medical Insurance
As additional medical protection, ISACA offers voluntary supplemental medical insurance policies through AFLAC. Policies may include protection for hospital intensive care, accident, hospital indemnity, cancer and many more, which help complement major medical policies. AFLAC products pay cash directly to the policyholder:
- Out-of-pocket expenses
- Day-to-day living expenses (i.e. mortgage, rent, etc.)
- Loss of income of you or your spouse
ISACA strives to incorporate and instill a culture of wellness through its Live Well Work Well program. We have a wellness portal that offers personal coaching, and the ability to track wellness metrics, and participate in company challenges such as a Steps Challenge. ISACA also offers opportunities and education in financial wellness, emotional wellness and ways to alleviate stress. In addition, our ergonomic workspaces feature standing/sitting desks, which again instill a culture of wellness.

Paid Time Off
- 1 to 4 years of service 3 weeks
- 5 to 9 years of service 4 weeks
- 10 or more years of service 5 weeks
*Time is earned on an accrual basis from date of hire.
Paid Parental Leave
ISACA offers a paid parental leave benefit to financially support employees and their families through the transition as they become parents and as their families grow. Benefits include 12 weeks paid for the birth parent, and 3 weeks paid for the spouse/domestic partner of a birth parent, employees who adopt a child and employees who assume permanent responsibility as a foster parent.
Volunteer Time Off
ISACA has included a Volunteer Time Off (VTO) policy in its list of employee benefits. ISACA believes in giving back to the communities where our employees live and work. The VTO program was established to provide and support opportunities for employees to get involved in traditional community services and pro bono volunteering. This program is designed to permit employees to take paid time off for volunteer activities during the business day.
Under this program employees can donate up to 24 hours per calendar year toward a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, and receive pay for approved activities
