IT Governance Institute Launches “Taking Governance Forward” 

Rolling Meadows, IL, USA (4 November 2010)—The IT Governance Institute (ITGI)—a nonprofit, independent research arm of global membership association ISACA—has launched Taking Governance Forward, a free online resource that provides a dynamic way for people to learn the latest on governance and join the debate on how to make it work for their organizations.

Taking Governance Forward encourages collaboration, creates a common definition of governance and provides a comprehensive, yet simple-to-use, overview of governance. Its practical tools and innovative “governance on a page” concept offer clear guidance for implementing effective governance. Features include:

  • Diagrams to illustrate the concepts
