ISACA and Deloitte Offer New Healthcare IT Training Course in New York

Rolling Meadows, Illinois, USA (17 July 2012)—Healthcare IT is a hot-button issue, particularly regarding the security and privacy of electronic health records (EHR), along with the many related government regulations. To help organizations navigate these complex issues, ISACA, a nonprofit association of more than 100,000 business and IT professionals in 180 countries, is partnering with Deloitte & Touche to offer a new, in-depth training course on healthcare IT and regulatory reform.

At the ISACA- and Deloitte & Touche-hosted Healthcare Information Technology course on 20-23 August 2012 in New York, attendees will gain a deeper understanding of the IT-related hot topics in the healthcare industry. Through a range of practical presentations and demonstrations, attendees will learn how to:

  • Identify the trends in healthcare, and what to expect in the future
  • Navigate the healthcare industry in an era of reform
  • Analyze the requirements and challenges of the most pressing healthcare IT issues

“Healthcare IT executives are facing a number of issues and changes in the near future, and ISACA and Deloitte & Touche will provide them with guidance in this new training course,” said Greg Grocholski, CISA, international president of ISACA and chief audit executive at The Dow Chemical Company. “Attendees will gain a greater understanding of the changing landscape and how to strategize and plan for it.”
