 ISACA and Deloitte Offer Healthcare IT Training in California 

Rolling Meadows, Illinois, USA (31 March 2014)—ISACA, a global association serving 110,000 information systems professionals in 180 countries, is working with Deloitte & Touche LLP to offer an in-depth four-day training course, titled “Healthcare Information Technology,” in San Diego, California, USA, 5-8 May 2014.

As the healthcare industry evolves to keep pace with rapidly changing technology and compliance requirements, IT professionals face new challenges and responsibilities. To explore current healthcare information technology (IT) hot topics, ISACA and Deloitte developed this course for IT auditors, information security professionals, compliance auditors and IT executives involved in healthcare. Regulatory issues, trends and future reform will be discussed, as well as how these affect the IT audit professional.

Through a range of practical presentations and demonstrations on topics such as Identity and Access Management, HIPAA, Healthcare IT Risk Assessment and HITRUST, attendees will learn how to:
