COBIT Helps Enterprises Realize Benefits, Add Value

ISACA’s Inaugural COBIT Conference to Provide Practical Guidance

Rolling Meadows, IL, USA (09 February 2015)—COBIT 5, the business framework for the governance and management of enterprise IT, has helped enterprises integrate business and IT, according to 73 percent of respondents to the 2014 Global COBIT 5 Governance Survey. To provide in-depth training on how to maximize COBIT to bring value to enterprises, Sushil Chatterji, CGEIT, CEA, CMC, MBM, director of Edutech Enterprises, will present “Business Benefits Realization” at ISACA’s inaugural COBIT Conference 14-15 March 2015 in Orlando, Florida, USA.

Chatterji is chair of ISACA’s Framework Committee, which oversees the planning and development for the COBIT framework. At the new COBIT Conference, he will discuss:

  • Benefits Planning
  • Benefits Delivery
  • Benefits Review
  • Benefits Exploitation

“There are a number of common misconceptions that often compromise the actual realization of business benefits,” said Chatterji. “There needs to be accurate reporting and a clear line of sight from strategic objectives to the business benefits that are forecast and realized. At the COBIT Conference, attendees will learn how to create this connection and add value to their enterprises.”

The conference will offer 10 educational sessions over two days of COBIT training in two tracks:  the COBIT 5 Foundation Track, after which attendees can earn the COBIT 5 Foundation Certificate and take the Foundation Exam; and the Actionable Insights, Tools and Practical Guidance Track.

COBIT 5 provides globally accepted principles, practices, analytical tools and models to help business and IT leaders maximize trust in, and value from, their enterprise’s information and technology assets. Many COBIT resources are available free of charge at
