 ISACA Brings IT Audit, Cybersecurity, Governance and Risk Training Week to Chicago 

Rolling Meadows, Illinois, USA (04 June 2015)—ISACA, a nonprofit association of more than 140,000 cyber security and information systems security, assurance and governance professionals in 180 countries, is bringing IT training courses to Chicago, Illinois, USA, 4-7 August 2015. Topics cover the latest developments in audit, governance, risk management, security, and COBIT 5.

Courses for Training Week include the following.

  • COBIT 5: Strategies for Implementing IT Governance provides practical guidance on benefits gained by using the COBIT 5 framework for governing enterprise technology.
  • Governance of Enterprise IT (GEIT) introduces IT professionals with current or prospective managerial responsibilities to good practices to support GEIT, and provides insight into the value that governance brings to an enterprise.
  • Foundations of IT Risk Management provides an in-depth view of IT-related business risk management. Participants will learn responsibilities and accountability for IT risk, how to build risk awareness, and how to communicate risk scenarios, business impact and key risk indicators.
  • Introduction to Information Security Management (ISM) presents ISM as an integrated program that incorporates the enterprise’s strategic and tactical planning, management and system engineering life cycles, while maintaining client and stakeholder focus.
