Free Training is Part of Cybersecurity Awareness Month
Rolling Meadows, IL, USA (12 October 2015)—October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month, which sheds light on the critical needs of strong security in world where enterprises have come to consider cyber attacks inevitable. To continue its pledge to support cybersecurity initiatives and serve professionals working in the field, global IT association ISACA is presenting a free virtual conference, titled “The Cyber Centric Enterprise: Maintaining a Dynamic Security Posture in a Chaotic Threat Environment,” 28 October 2015, from 8:15 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EDT (UTC–4).
“Maintaining a strong security posture that is agile and adaptable requires strategies that are current and mindful of the current threats and emerging technologies. Enterprises around the globe must create a culture of awareness from the boardroom to the break room to enhance organizational cyber resiliency,” said cyber evangelist Montana Williams, CWDP, who is senior manager of Cybersecurity Practices at ISACA. “ISACA is proud to support Cybersecurity Awareness Month, and this virtual conference is an important offering in participation of it.”
The virtual conference is part of ISACA’s Cybersecurity Nexus (CSX), a holistic resource for cybersecurity training, credentialing and networking. During the event, thousands of attendees will participate in educational sessions, network with peers from around the world, and interact with exhibitors and sponsors in a virtual exhibit hall. Sessions include:
