Rolling Meadows, IL, USA (1 February 2018) — Erik Wahl, former graffiti artist, current TED speaker and best-selling author, will deliver the opening keynote to ISACA’s North America CACS Conference for information systems audit, assurance, control, governance and security professionals, taking place 30 April-2 May 2018 in Chicago, Illinois.
In his presentation, “The Spark and the Grind: The Discipline of Creativity,” Wahl will focus on translating ideas into action, a theme that resonates with the current business landscape of disruption and digital transformation. His keynote presentation will inspire attendees to be increasingly agile and will describe how to use disruption as a competitive advantage.
Wahl is known for his creation of art in real time while speaking about systematically embracing innovation and risk, inspiring business agility amidst disruption. “Innovation means that you are able to transcend what everyone else sees because your approach to thinking through a problem is unique,” Wahl said. “Innovation doesn’t mean that you have a new design or tangible product, but a rather a new way of thinking, processing information, solving problems, and exploring.”
