Introduction to COBIT 5 Workshop

23 June 2012, San Francisco (see all dates and locations)

This one-day, instructor-led Introduction to COBIT 5 Training Course provides an overview of COBIT 5, ISACA’s new governance framework. The course provides existing practitioners and potential new COBIT users insight into the new framework and explains the differences between COBIT 4.1 and COBIT 5. Included in this course is an introduction to the new COBIT Assessment Programme using both COBIT 4.1 and COBIT 5.

This course is recommended for those preparing for additional COBIT 5 training, including the COBIT 5 Foundation Course, COBIT 5 Implementation Course and Assessor Program Training (available late 2012)—all of which include the ability to earn COBIT 5 certificates.

Introduction to COBIT 5 Licensing: (Available May 2012 for licensing)

With the recent release of COBIT 5, ISACA’s new governance framework, ISACA has recognized the need for a one-day instructor-led introduction to COBIT 5 training course that provides an overview of COBIT 5. ISACA is pleased to offer licensing opportunities for those training organizations and individual trainers interested in delivering training to their clients. The materials have been developed by COBIT 5 subject matter experts and include:

  • Course description and outline
  • Facilitator’s guide
  • Participant’s guide
  • Presentation materials (PowerPoint slide deck)

Future Accreditation Opportunities for COBIT 5 Curriculum  

With the release of COBIT 5, ISACA is developing an Accredited COBIT 5 Training Program to deliver ISACA’s COBIT 5 Curriculum through ISACA and third-party training organizations.  

Expected Release Date: June 2012 for foundation level course additional courses to follow later in 2012.
