| Registration is NOW open for CISA Review Class for the forthcoming CISA exam on 8th June, 2013. Our Reviews are due to begin on Monday 18th March, 2013 to Thursday 2nd May, 2013 (Monday to Friday).
This CISA Review Class focuses exclusively on the essential areas covered in the CISA exam. This review class covers the core sections and a series of sample exam questions that provide participants with a "feel" of the format and the types of questions encountered on the CISA exam.
Our trainers are qualified Professionals with technical experience, skills and knowledge of specific domain(s). Participants will gain an overall understanding of the relevant CISA Examination DOMAINS.
At the end of the course the MOCK EXAM will be set which will provide the participants with a general idea of the examination questions format.

| Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) er et omfattende profesjonelt sertifiseringsprogram
som utelukkende fokuserer på området kontroll, sikkerhet og revisjon av informasjonssystemer. Per i dag har mer enn 88 000 tatt sertifiseringen på verdensbasis. Mer enn 21 000 kandidater meldte seg på CISA-eksamen i 2010. I Norge finnes for tiden ca.190 sertifiserte.
Innholdet i CISA-samlingene er utviklet av ISACA sentralt og blir gjennomført av norske forelesere fra ISACA Norway Chapter. Kurset er bygget opp rundt tre samlinger. Områdene i CISA-manualen blir gjennomgått på de to første samlingene og første dag av siste samling. På siste samling arrangeres også prøveeksamen.
Undervisningen består av forelesninger, diskusjoner og oppgaver. Kandidatene som vurderer kurset må være oppmerksom på at CISA-programmet krever en stor grad av selvstudium og egeninnsats for å forberede seg til og bestå CISA-eksamen.

CISA-EKSAMEN
Innholdet i kurset dekker på et overordnet nivå de områdene som omfattes av CISA-eksamen
(Certified Information Systems Auditor) som er en internasjonal eksamen. For å bli sertifisert CISA må man i tillegg til å ha bestått den internasjonale eksamenen, oppfylle kravene til erfaring med IT-revisjon, kontroll eller sikkerhet tilsvarende 5 år. Denne praksisen kan hentes fra gjennomført IT-utdannelse, praksis fra revisjon/IT-revisjon eller
gjennom forelesninger innen IT. For å beholde sertifiseringen må kravene til vedlikeholdspoeng oppfylles.
Eksamen avholdes lørdag 8. juni 2013 og
Eksamen består av 200 spørsmål av typen «multiple choice» og varer i 4 timer.

| The review program has been developed to meet the needs of those who wish to sit for the CISA exam, as well as anyone who wants to "brush up" on technology audit and control techniques. This audience includes both technology and non-technology auditors at all experience levels, as well as information security, compliance and control practitioners. Instructors chosen to teach the particular subject matter (domains) have both expert knowledge of the applicable topic, and proven instructional abilities. Study materials have been developed by ISACA and are informative and user-friendly. Courses utilize official ISACA presentations and study materials, and include both conceptual review and practice examinations.
The review program is an excellent way to enhance your CISA exam study experience and increase your chances of passing the CISA exam. Historically, pass rates for students who have taken the CISA review classes have been much higher than average. Plus, the class is a good way to network with peers and gain exposure to auxiliary and supplemental materials.

| General: There are 300 plus distinct disciplines of Information Technology. An IT practitioner specializes in no more than 2 or 3 and may be sometimes in 5 or 6 areas. Such practicing professionals usually have in depth knowledge of such subject matters in which they specialize. However, there are two distinct job areas of IT (a CIO and an IT Auditor) where a professional has to know a little bit of all of such 300 disciplines. Although IT auditors also specialize in two or three other areas due to high interactivity amongst computer and communications systems, an auditor has to look at the broad picture as well as the area specifically being audited under the audit plan.
Who This Seminar is for:
CISA exam takers who do not have strong IT background
CISA exam takers who have only financial background (MBA, CPA, accounting majors, Chartered Accountants)
CISA exam takers who do not have strong security background (domain 5 of CISA exam carries a weight of 30 percent)
CISA exam takers who are not keeping up with technology
CISM exam takers who need to brush up on security technologies
Focus of this course: This 8-hour seminar will look at the forest of IT rather than individual trees. Almost all of the 300 distinct areas of IT will be covered in this 480-minute presentation. Interactivity and interdependence amongst such areas will also be discussed. At the conclusion of the seminar, the attendees will come out with an overall picture of the realm of IT and how its various components interact with each other. Wherever possible, different control issues for such areas will also be discussed. Since the domains of IT change on a frequent basis, there will be no handouts for this class. Class will be highly interactive. Emphasis will be on the breadth rather than depth. As they say, the contents would be one mile wide and one yard thick. At the conclusion of the seminar, attendees would understand all there is to know about computers and communications components.
