Academic Relations Committee
Purpose: To build and maintain potential full time ISACA® member candidates and promote the organization within the context of the academic environment.

Audit Committee
Purpose: To facilitate the completion of an annual audit of the accounts and financial records of the Chapter in accordance with sound accounting practices, and report the findings to the Board of Directors and the Chapter at the Annual General Meeting.

Bylaws, Policies & Procedures Committee
Purpose: To define the process for submitting and approving proposed Detroit Chapter bylaws, policies and/or procedures changes.

Certification Committee
Purpose: To serve as the focal point for all Detroit Chapter certification programs and activities, and to serve the membership by planning and conducting certification exam review classes.

Facilities Committee
Purpose: To coordinate each event sponsored by the organization in terms of cost, fees, facilities, meals, and materials.

Internet Committee
Purpose: To build and maintain the Chapter’s web site as required to ensure that the it is the primary communication tool to the members. To support Chapter use of technology.

Membership & Newsletter Committee
Purpose: To encourage and improve over-all consistant attendance at Detroit Chapter meetings and over-all total membership. To assure that the Chapter membership is kept informed of interests, activities, and special programs of ISACA® International.

Nominating Committee
Purpose: To facilitate the continued advancement of the Detroit Chapter by nominating well-qualified and experienced members for all the elected Officers and Directors as provided for in the Chapter By-Laws.

Program Committee
Purpose: To prepare and recommend an interesting, informative program for the chapter year which will contribute to the growth of the participating membership.

Seminar Committee
Purpose: To recommend, oversee and strive to provide quality seminars that offer value, training and networking back to the membership.

Social Committee
Purpose: To organize and recommend at least two outings during the year for the purpose of engaging youthful professionals to disseminate Chapter information to and encourage membership.

Spring Conference Committee
Purpose: To plan and facilitate an annual local 3-day multi-track training conference along with the Detroit IIA chapter. To provide for a variety of quality and cost-effective training choices as well as information from sponsoring vendors to our membership and others who attend.
