Businessman Zig Ziglar once famously remarked that “It’s not where you start, but where you finish, that counts.” That’s not the case when it comes to cybersecurity—in fact, it’s the exact opposite. In cybersecurity, where you start matters. Are you hiring the right people, in the face of a shortage of skilled workers? Has your enterprise accepted cybersecurity as an enterprise-level risk management issue, and is acting accordingly? Is your CISO worried about your ability to swiftly and comprehensively respond to cyberattacks? When your enterprise develops a product, solution or service, does it consider cybersecurity as part of the design process? These are core questions that underpin just about everything professionals and their enterprises are engaged in. In this presentation, we’re going to explore these questions—and others—and show how strong beginnings foster even stronger futures.
