In this session, attendees will learn how to prepare for and successfully pass the Certified Information Systems Auditor® (CISA®) examination. You will learn about the structure and details of the exam itself and the ISACA® materials and resources available for you to utilize in order to optimize your chances of success. We will discuss exam logistics and associated challenges, test taking strategies (including how to evaluate questions) tips and tricks, and proven strategies to study for and pass this challenging exam.
This session’s presenter is Ken Schmidt of R&M Consulting. Ken has 23 years of IT audit experience. He also worked in IT for 12 years and managed an Internal Audit department for eight years. Industries he is involved in include manufacturing, wholesale distribution, retail, publishing, financial exchanges, banking and payment cards.
Ken has been an instructor for ISACA-Chicago’s Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) Review Course for over 20 years, and has been adjunct faculty at Elmhurst College for the past nine years. He has a BS degree (Finance and Accounting) from DePaul University and an MBA (MIS) from Roosevelt University. Ken is a CISA, CISSP, CPA and CIA.
