I would like your approval to attend ISACA’s Training Week which takes place 11-14 March 2013 in Phoenix, AZ. Attendance at Training Week is crucial to professional development for those in the audit, assurance and security fields. Attending Training Week ensures that organizations like ours have employees who are armed with the right information and insights to make better informed IT and business decisions. The opportunities to gain knowledge, meet an industry expert, and expand my network of professional contacts are unparalleled. More importantly, I will return to the office prepared to immediately apply what I learned and with full documentation that can be shared with colleagues.

Some skills that I can expect to learn at the training include:

  • Advanced techniques for auditing infrastructure
  • An enhanced perspective on how to best manage resources when structuring IT audits on a variety of platforms

ISACA is a leading independent, nonprofit, global association that engages in the development, adoption and use of globally accepted, industry-leading knowledge and practices for information systems. The association has more than 100,000 members around the world. It provides practical guidance, benchmarks and other effective tools for all enterprises that use information systems.

Some skills that I can expect to learn at the training include:
