RE: COBIT Focus - Using COBIT 5: Enabling Information to Perform an Information Quality Assessment

Thank you so much for sharing with us your article.  It is very interesting.

I agree with your methodology: using ISACA publications for survey give auditors and consultant very useful information.

Would you please share with us more about your experience presenting the survey to respondents? It was easy to explain COBIT 5 Enabling Information's concepts? Did you need to change or modify some terms?

Do you recommend this practice for others works?

Dear members: what do you think?

Thanks!

Best,

Graciela

Graciela, thank you for the comment. For us it´s very important to share with the whole community our experience using COBIT 5 Enanbling Information.

The great challenge was to explain to respondents the concept of COBIT 5. Most respondents knew the concepts of  COBIT 5, but with the view of COBIT 5 Enanbling Process. We had to make a parallel with the information criteria (effectiveness, efficiency, confidentiality, integrity, availability, compliance and reliability) from COBIT 4.1 to make a brief introduction to COBIT 5 Enanblig Information. Acceptance was good and the results show how important some informations are for the institution while others are more important only to some departments. Without this survey would be very difficult to answer to the Institution the qualitative aspects of information

This pratice can be used early in other works, can be used as a driver for analysis to be performed.

Thanks,
Best,

Felipe Antonio
