Audit Function Risk Register
In a recent management meeting where risk registers for operational divisions are a permanent agenda item and are tabled for discussion and comment by organizational managers i have been asked as the Head of the Internal audit function why the internal audit does not have its own risk register where risks that affect the achievement of the function's objectives are recorded like any other business function such as finance, production etc
What are your experience with this?
Can anyone sent me a risk register for their audit function?
