The exposure draft of the next version of ISACA’s governance of enterprise IT framework—the COBIT 5 Framework—is provided here.

This foundational COBIT volume introduces the following, which combine to provide a comprehensive, effective framework to support the governance and management of enterprise information and related technology:

  • Benefits
  • Enablers
  • Other aspects

The public exposure period has ended. The document is being revised for feedback received and is scheduled to be issued toward the end of the 1st quarter 2012.

Exchange thoughts and ideas about COBIT 5 content, share early experiences of using it and find answers and advice for using COBIT 5 and related materials.

Knowledge Center  COBIT 5 Implementation (ISACA Member only)

Exchange thoughts and ideas about the COBIT 5 principles, stakeholder and business objectives focus, enabler models (including the new process reference model), governance and management definitions and the COBIT assessment program approach to process capability assessment. Share early experiences of using COBIT 5 (and related materials) to implement and/or improve governance of enterprise IT.

The COBIT 5 Process Reference Guide incorporates and is the successor to COBIT 4.1, Val IT and Risk IT processes. It describes the:

  • Goals cascade
  • Process model
  • Process reference model
  • Detailed processes

The public exposure period has ended. The document is being revised for feedback received and is scheduled to be issued toward the end of the 1st quarter 2012. 

ISACA will be happy to license COBIT for language translation and commercial use after exposure comments have been addressed and COBIT 5 is issued in final form, which is scheduled for the beginning of 2012.
