Item Writing Program

The growth and success of the ISACA certification programs can be attributed to many different factors, including the quality of questions for the exams and the review materials. To achieve a constant flow of new items, ISACA elicits the support of practitioners from around the world to become item writers and develop new items.

To become an item writer, please follow these steps:

Create an ISACA online account, if you do not already have one
Complete the online application below

Once you have submitted your application, ISACA strongly encourages all new item writers to use the following tools and resources designed to assist you in submitting quality items.

ISACA will periodically email correspondence informing you of item writing campaigns. Information about submitting items, item writing campaigns and the item review process is included in the web cast and the Guide.

Lastly, as an item writer, you have the opportunity to earn CPE hours and honorariums. Learn more about item writing rewards by viewing the webcasts and reading the Guides.

Before completing the application you will need to establish an online account with ISACA. Access this page to create or access your existing ISACA account. Your 'ISACA ID' number is listed at My ISACA (login required).
