Sheraz Niazi of Torrance California
Congratulations to Sheraz Niazi for his winning submission to ISACA’s web site renovation contest!
The competition was strong but our judges final tally places Sheraz’s submission in front of the crowd. Sheraz provided detailed and innovative approaches that will be used in the ongoing work of our web site project.
Our sincerest thanks go out to Sheraz and the 64 other members who shared their innovative ideas to aid in creating a better user experience for everyone.
The input and support from our member community is invaluable and this project would not be possible without your support. Look for updates in 2009 on the progress of this exciting project and expect wonderful things to come in 2009/2010!
ISACA.org is being completely renovated. As the primary constituent that the new site is intended to serve, we are providing you the opportunity to contribute ideas regarding your new virtual home and a chance to win US $2,500!
A web design and implementation firm has been engaged to undertake the complex and exhaustive tasks associated with building a web site from the ground up. They are working on the overall site design, organization and laying the foundation which will utilize proven technologies and leverage web 2.0 functionality. Therefore, we are not requesting full and complete web design recommendations and associated user research. However, now is the time to ensure we have your views and input on how the site can best satisfy your needs. Share your innovative ideas, creative design concepts, and suggestions for new capabilities and functionality so that we may collectively serve the ISACA community to the greatest extent possible.
In an effort to not limit your thinking and restrict your creative thoughts, we have placed very few limitations around what can be submitted for consideration. It can be anything from a new layout for the homepage, a suggestion on how to creatively use a technology, a new online service or capability, or a unique idea around professional networking and community. Any recommendation that would contribute to elevating and enhancing the ISACA.org user experience would be appropriate.
The winning submission will be awarded US $2,500 and be judged on creativity, ease of implementation, originality, completeness and relevancy to the ISACA community.
