Measuring Value, Managing Risk, Assuring Compliance

Over the years IT has become one of the major drivers for economic wealth and it is increasingly clear that enterprises rely on IT for their competitive advantage. Yet now, more than ever, IT can involve huge costs and enormous risks. Enterprises cannot afford to apply anything less than the same level of attention they devote to financial supervision and overall enterprise governance to IT. The IT Governance, Risk and Compliance Conference provides practical and actionable content that enables participants to build upon existing IT governance practices, enhance the value that IT provides to the enterprise, ensure IT-related risks are properly managed and assure regulatory compliance. Attendees can earn up to 32 continuing professional education (CPE) hours; 18 for attending the conference and 7 for each day of the optional preconference workshops.

The IT Governance Forum—featured at the IT Governance, Risk and Compliance Conference as special interactive sessions spread throughout the conference tracks. These sessions are designed specifically for professionals who implement, maintain and improve IT governance in the enterprise. Topics of discussion will include how to define IT governance and the five areas of IT governance.
