CGEIT Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Policy
CGEIT Logo

New The CGEIT CPE Policy has recently been updated.

CGEIT certified professionals are required to remain current with new practices, trends and technologies by adhering to a CPE policy. As such, each individual must maintain an adequate level of current knowledge and proficiency in the field of IT governance. Those who successfully comply with the continuing professional education policy will be better equipped to support the Board of Directors and executive management.

The responsibility for setting the continuing professional education requirements rests with ISACA. The CGEIT Certification Board oversees the continuing professional education process and requirements to ensure their applicability.

The continuing professional education policy requires the attainment of continuing professional education hours over an annual and three-year certification period.
