Welcome to the ISACA Brisbane Chapter. The aim of the Chapter is to sponsor local educational seminars and workshops, conducts regular chapter meetings, and help to further promote and elevate the visibility of the IS audit, control and security profession for its members throughout the Brisbane area.
Our chapter collaborated with the Papua New Guinea chapter to organise Oceania CACS 2016 ; the premier event in our region for IS Governance, IS Security and IS Assurance professionals.
ISACA (Information Systems Audit and Control Association) is a world wide association of IS governance professionals. The association currently focuses on assurance, security, and governance and provides globally recognised certification in Audit & Assurance (Certified Information Systems Auditor), security (Certified Information Security Manager), risk (Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control), and governance (Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT).
The association is one of individual members, often the sole practitioner of information systems auditing, security, and/or governance in their organisation. The membership of the ISACA reflects a multiplicity of backgrounds and skills that make the information systems governance field challenging and dynamic. Current ISACA Brisbane Chapter Board Members are:

Vice-President: Ms. Mayus Nath
Secretary: Mrs. Tracey Lawrance

We have a number of strategic initiatives under four main pillars to build bridges with you and other associations so that you can maximize the value of your ISACA membership:
Member Events Professional Associations - Strategic Alliances
We seek to create events that will share knowledge and understanding through professional development sessions and the annual Value Management Forum (aka 1-Day Conference).
Develop alliances with other similar professional bodies ensures our members get reciprocal arrangements at other events that are of interest and applicable to our membership. Academic Relations
We continue to engage with leading Queensland Universities both students and faculty to promote our association's key body of knowledge and expertise in Information Systems Audit, Assurance, Risk and Governance, credentials and value of membership. Certification
With the resources of ISACA international, increase the awareness and value to Queensland Industry and Government sectors of the ISACA credentials and those professional s who hold its certifications.
