Welcome to ISACA London Chapter

As an independent, non-profit, global association, ISACA engages in the development, adoption and use of globally accepted, industry-leading knowledge and practices for information systems. Previously known as the Information Systems Audit and Control Association, ISACA now goes by its acronym only, to reflect the broad range of IT governance professionals it serves. 

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into effect on the 25th May, 2018.  In addition to the personal data you provide to ISACA International, ISACA London Chapter (ILC) also collects and processes certain personal data.  The purpose of the ILC Privacy Notice is to inform everyone who provides their personal data to us:

  • What personal data we collect and why.
  • The legal basis for processing personal data.
  • How personal data is secured.
  • How transfers to non-EU service providers are handled.
  • How long we will retain personal data for.
  • Your rights as a data subject.

2019-20 ISACA-London Board Directors & Apprentices Nominations

 

Dear London-Chapter Member

 

The ISACA London Chapter and Nominating Committee are seeking volunteers interested in serving in leadership roles (board members) and other volunteer positions for the Chapter during the May 2019- May 2020 term.  

Apprentices to Board Members: For those not yet ready to take on full board positions, there are now Apprentice roles working to corresponding Portfolio Directors, the Treasurer and the Company Secretary. This not only provides support for the corresponding board member, but also offers experience relevant to succession to that higher role.

The tenure of the current Board officers and appointed positions will end at the AGM in May 2019.  A new slate of recommended Board positions will be presented to the Chapter members at least two weeks before the Annual General Meeting (AGM) and the elections will occur at the AGM in May 2019.

Each year, open nominations are held to present a slate of Board Officers and Appointed Positions for the upcoming year. A nominee must be a Chapter member in good standing and have the skills, time and resources necessary to perform the duties of their nominated position. 

For May 2019/May 2020 there are vacancies listed below and job descriptions for the five areas are attached to assist your review of the roles and responsibilities for the Director/Apprentice positions. The current Board members are available to assist anyone interested in the vacant positions and their contact information is available from the Chapter’s website. Vacant positions are:
