Incoming President's Message - June 2016

Aloha ISACA Members,

I would like to take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Robin Pressly, and I am your incoming President for the 2016-2017 year. Addie Lui has done a tremendous job as our President for the past three years and has been a great mentor for me in my role as Vice President. He has decided to transition into another role on the board, and I am honored to step up as your new President. I have big shoes to fill and will do everything I can to ensure we provide the best learning and networking experiences for our members.

Thank you to everyone who attended our April luncheon presented by Alex Hernandez from Praesidio who talked to us about Logging, Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) and Anomaly Detection. We had a great turnout with over 16 members, nonmembers, students and guests.

Our June luncheon will once again be held at Hawaii National Bank Boardroom located at 45 North King St, Honolulu, HI 96813. Wednesday, June 15th, Andrew Lanning, Co-Founder of Integrated Security Technologies will be speaking to us about Cybersecurity Tier Zero: Hardening Physical Security Systems. Our luncheon will start at 11:30AM with Andrew speaking at 12noon and ending at 1:00PM.

Please expect a calendar invite which will be sent directly to your inbox. If you are attending the luncheon, please click on the accept button and we will record you as such. Be sure to accept right away, as the Boardroom has a maximum capacity of 30.

If you did not get the invite or confirmation, please contact Jennifer de Luna at jennifer@rjoinc.co and she will be sure to sign you up.

Hope that you can make it to our luncheon!
