Welcome to the ISACA Central Maryland Chapter

Our focus is to sponsor local educational seminars, workshops, monthly training events, and networking opportunities. Our goal is to further promote and elevate the visibility of the IS audit, control, and security profession throughout Maryland the local commuting area.

ISACA Central Maryland Chapter (ISACA-CMC) is led by a group of dedicated volunteers offering IT, information systems, security, and audit and financial professionals local educational events, resource sharing, advocacy, professional networking and a host of other benefits at the local level. During its fiscal years July 1st to June 30th, ISACA-CMC offers a monthly training event with 3 to 7 CPEs from September to May and one to two 2-3 day seminars during the spring and fall seasons. Unless otherwise stated, member prices for these training events are available for all ISACA, ISSA, AGA, and CFE members. In addition, retirees qualify for member prices. To gain a better understanding of the operation of our chapter and its purpose please review the ISACA By-Laws.

ISACA-CMC 2016 Orioles Game1/20/2016 4:49 PM

The ISACA-Central MD Chapter Board approved the annual Orioles baseball event for 2016 and agreed to again subsidize tickets for this event.  All chapter members are eligible for TWO subsidized event tickets.  Member number is required for subsidized tickets.  If you attend at least three monthly chapter training events or one chapter seminar, you will be eligible to acquire FIVE subsidized tickets.  Otherwise, you will be limited to NO MORE than TWO TICKETS at the subsidized price.  All others will be limited to FOUR tickets at the full price.  The Board is tentatively planning for the Friday, July 22, 2016, game against the Cleveland Indians.  We will begin with a pregame party and watch the game from Section 87, under the overhang next to bullpen.  Once we have our reservations confirmed and the game costs, we will announce the game day and subsidized and regular ticket prices.

Maryland Career Consortium Career Fair (MCCCF)1/7/2016 1:17 PM

The MCC Career Fair is being held on Friday, February 19, 2016, from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the Reitz Arena at Loyola University Maryland.   
The annual MCC Career Fair provides employers with the opportunity to connect with students and alumni from 14 respective institutions.  It's open to college students and alumni only and is an opportunity to meet and network with employers from various local, regional, and national industries including the government, private, and non-profit sectors.  For more information please visit: Maryland Career Consortium
