About Our Chapter
A Glance on Chapter formation History:
Since 2010 the formation committee held informal regular meetings, activities and other related efforts to encourage members for the participation of the chapter formation.
After 4 years of continuous activities, great efforts and on August 2014 ISACA Cairo Chapter was officially approved and charted by ISACA international. The official launch and celebration was held on February 7th, 2015 during the chapter’s first breakfast meeting and 75 members had attended.

The success of the Cairo Chapter is dependent upon the active participation of Chapter
members on Chapter Committees. The Chapter Committees are the life force behind
all Chapter initiatives, events and activities. Below is a description of each Committee.
If you are interested in participating on a Committee, please notify the Chapter
President by submitting the information requested at the bottom of this page.
This committee is responsible for promoting membership in the Association and for
maintaining Chapter membership
Annual Event Committee
This committee is responsible for planning and directing the Annual Fall Conference
which includes solicitation of keynote, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors, conference
schedule, budget, facilities, proctors and registrations.
This committee is responsible for planning and directing all educational offerings
including monthly meetings, seminars, and presentations.
Community Relationship Committee
This committee is responsible for promoting the relationship with universities and
other governmental and corporate entities to educate society about the information
systems audit profession.
Identity Management Committee
This committee is responsible for creation and maintaining of ISACA Cairo Chapter
online and offline content, to adhere with ISACA Corporate Identity and Local Chapter’s
