ISACA Perth Chapter invites information audit, risk, security and governance professionals to this year’s SecureIT Annual Conference. This event will provide attendees with unique perspectives from senior Government and industry leaders on how organisations are responding to regulatory privacy requirements, tackling the growing threat of cybersecurity attacks seeking to expose your data, and all the while managing the increasing costs.
The theme of Securing your Privacy is without a doubt the hot topic of the year and SecureIT 2017 will provide attendees with the insight, knowledge and tools they can use to prepare and implement solutions for their organisations.

Mr Colin Murphy (PSM)
18th Auditor General for Western Australia
Colin Murphy was appointed the 18th Auditor General for Western Australia in June 2007. Colin has extensive experience in finance and administration in State and Commonwealth government roles. He has held senior positions within the State Government in the Departments of Justice, Treasury and Finance, Land Administration and the Building Management Authority. He has also worked for the Commonwealth Department of Finance in Perth and Washington DC, and as Business Manager for Murdoch University. Colin is a member of the Australian Auditing and Assurance Standards Board. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Western Australia. He is a Fellow, former Board member and Past State President of CPA Australia, a Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia, and Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. He was awarded the Public Service Medal in the 2010 Australia Day Honours.
Mr Andrew Cann
Chief Technology Officer
Andrew was formerly a Western Australian Police Officer who worked General Duties before moving into intelligence, followed by a change of career direction into ICT assisting with the implementation of IMS for WA Police. He was seconded to the Australian Crime Commission in Canberra and became the CTO there for four years, responsible for the Australian Criminal Intelligence Database, various other Protected level systems and working with many other federal government organisations on ICT initiatives. Andrew returned to WA in 2013 to take the role of CIO at the Department of Sport and Recreation with the brief to transform the organisations’ ICT capabilities. Andrew's work at DSR came to the attention of the WA Government CIO Office and he took on the role of CTO and the key responsibility for the development of the GovNext-ICT Program. He is currently developing a Cyber Security Program of work for WA Government.
Mr Anthony Kitzelmann
Chief Information Security Officer
Tony is the Chief Information Security Officer and General Manager for the Australian Digital Health Agencies Cyber Security Centre. Tony leads a team of Cyber Security professionals responsible for the security of the My Health Record Systems, and the Agencies corporate networks. Tony holds numerous industry and academic qualifications and is currently studying a Masters in Cyber Security, Strategy and Diplomacy with UNSW. Tony was previously employed as the Senior Cyber Security Executive and Chief Information Security Officer (APAC) at Lockheed Martin for five years from 2012. He was accountable for the strategic leadership and delivery of all corporate cyber security functions within the ASIA Pacific region and provided functional leadership to the various business lines in the region.
Dr Jodie Siganto
Jodie graduated as a lawyer and after 8 years in private practice took the position of in-house counsel for Tandem Computers followed by roles with Unisys Asia and Dell based in Singapore. She returned to Australia in 2000, establishing Bridge Point Communications (specialists in data networking and security) with two other colleagues. She is a partner in law firm Ringrose Siganto, specialising in providing technology, information security and privacy legal, consulting and training services. Dr Siganto completed her PhD on privacy and information security practice in 2014. Jodie is a regular speaker at industry events and a keen researcher participating in projects such as the mapping of some of the unique traits of information security practitioners in Australia and investigating the Australian cyber security skills shortage.
Mr Mark Humphreys
Mark has over 20 years of experience encompassing logic mapping, strategic, operational and project risk, liability and insurable risk with blue chip companies in the UK and across the Australian private and public sectors. Mark is a ‘Certified Practicing Risk Manager’ (CPRM) with the Risk Management Institution of Australasia (RMIA), a ‘Certified Insurance Professional’ (CIP) with the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance & Finance (ANZIIF) and an appointed government ‘Gateway’ Project Reviewer for ‘High Value / High Risk’ projects. Mark is a graduate and member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a Fellow of ANZIIF and a ‘Chartered Member of the Institution of Occupational Safety & Health’ (CMIOSH). He holds two ‘Master of Science’ degrees; one in ‘Insurance & Risk Management’ and one in ‘Civil Emergency Management’, majoring in risk and business continuity management.
