Nominations for 2012-2013 Elected Officers and Board of Director Positions
The annual process of developing and augmenting our chapter leadership is critical in order to grow, evolve, and improve our service delivery. Our chapter can only succeed in our mission to provide learning, networking, and professional development opportunities to our members through the efforts of elected board volunteers.

Updates to Chapter By-Laws
To summarize, the following are changes proposed to our Chapter's Bylaws:
- Addition of a new Board position (Director, On-line Presence and Web Administration) to address the increase in our online presence activities. As a result of adding this new Board position, the position of Director, Immediate Past President will become a non-voting position in order to maintain an odd number for voting purposes.
- Student members permitted to vote and hold office.
- A three-year limit on concurrently serving on the Board in the same position.
- Other minor changes to reflect current Board operations.
ISACA Pittsburgh Chapter By-Laws

2012 Information Securty Forum:
6 CPE's for only $5.00 for registration before April 27, 2012
All registration fees will go to the Plum Food Pantry.

Greetings !
The Pittsburgh ISACA Chapter is back in 2012 with many exciting training opportunities coming your way. In February, Rich Archer from KPMG will be presenting on Cloud Computing. Our Spring Seminar in April offers 3 different tracks: Oracle/SQL Server with John Tannahill, Securing Mobile Applications, and ACL.

Also, if anyone is interested in running for an ISACA Board position for the 2012-2013 board term, nomination form has been published below on this web site and will be going out in early March to our local chapter members via email.
Finally, our chapter goal is to continue to provide valuable training to our members on new and emerging topics of interest. We are always looking for ways to improve and any suggestions you may have are always welcome. Here's to an exciting 2012 for our chapter.

Upcoming ISACA Certifications:
Due to strong registration demand, the early registration deadline for the 9 June 2012 CISA, CISM, CGEIT and CRISC certification exams has been extended to Friday, 10 February at 5:00 P.M. U.S. Central Standard Time.
Candidates that register by the early deadline will receive a US $50 discount and can do so by visiting www.isaca.org/examreg. The final deadline to register is 4 April.
