President's Message:

Happy New Year! 

I hope everyone had a nice and relaxing holiday.  The Pittsburgh ISACA Chapter is back in 2012 with many exciting training opportunities coming your way.  In February, Rich Archer from KPMG will be presenting on Cloud Computing.  Our Spring Seminar in April offers 3 different tracks:  Oracle/SQL Server with John Tannahill, Securing Mobile Applications, and ACL. 

Please check out the events link on our webpage for more information on these upcoming events.  Also, if anyone is interested in running for an ISACA Board position for the 2012-2013 board term, nomination forms will be going out to all members in early April.   

Finally, our chapter goal is to continue to provide valuable training to our members on new and emerging topics of interest.  We are always looking for ways to improve and any suggestions you may have are always welcome.  Here's to an exciting 2012 for our chapter.

Upcoming ISACA Certifications:

Due to strong registration demand, the early registration deadline for the 9 June 2012 CISA, CISM, CGEIT and CRISC certification exams has been extended to Friday, 10 February at 5:00 P.M. U.S. Central Standard Time.

Candidates that register by the early deadline will receive a US $50 discount and can do so by visiting www.isaca.org/examreg. The final deadline to register is 4 April.
