Welcome to the ISACA San Francisco Chapter

The San Francisco Chapter was founded in 1975 and is made up of approximately 1000 members. Our goal is to sponsor local educational seminars and workshops, provide networking opportunities for professional and student members, and help to promote and elevate the visibility of the IT Audit, IT Security, IT Risk, and IT Governance profession in the San Francisco Bay Area.

  • This call for session proposals ends June 23, 2017
  • Sponsors are not guaranteed speaker slots; however early sponsors will be given strong consideration subject to the criteria. Selection criteria is based on educational value, quality of speaker and should be vendor neutral. For additional details on Guidelines for Submission, CLICK HERE.
  • If your presentation is selected for inclusion in the conference, you will be informed shortly after June 23, 2017. The specific date, time and track details for your session will be sent at a later date.
  • Hands-on demos and case studies with actionable outcomes are encouraged. Participants want to take away skills and information that they can use.
  • Sessions are 90 minutes allowing for about 75 minutes of content and 15 minutes for Q&A. Please plan the content of your presentations accordingly.
  • HELPFUL HINT: We recognize that part of your motivation to present may be to “market” your company or product to potential clients.  That is understandable; however, we ask that you keep your session as vendor-neutral as possible. When referring directly to a product or service that you provide, make a clear and explicit the transition from “education mode” to “marketing mode”, and please keep those transitions to a minimum.

The 2017 SF ISACA Fall Conference will feature two events tailored to our sponsors, a Monday evening (immediately following the sessions) Sponsors’ Reception and a Sponsors’ Luncheon and Exhibitor Fair on Tuesday. These two events offer our attendees the expanded opportunity to interact with our sponsors and exhibitors and learn more about your products and services. Our use of a passport system and prize giveaways incentivize our attendees to visit with all of our sponsors and exhibitors.
