President’s message:

Welcome to ISACA Sydney Chapter. We are an independent not-for-profit, member-based professional association. The Sydney Chapter is part of a global association comprised of 200 chapters and 100,000 members. Our Sydney Chapter was established in 1976 and has over 1,000 members. 

ISACA's International office develops and maintains frameworks, provides certifications and hosts international conferences.

Our local chapter provides monthly professional development sessions, training on our frameworks and boot camp review sessions for our certification exams.

These services are utilised by audit, IT, governance, portfolio managment, risk and information security professionals. We aim to build the ability of our members to implement ISACA frameworks and pass our certification exams.

Our local board was elected on April 11^th 2012. We endeavour to provide value to our members through providing the following services:

• Monthly professional development & networking sessions in Sydney’s CBD
• Trial professional development & networking sessions in Parramatta CBD
• Establishing a COBIT Special Interest Group
• Training services on our frameworks (COBIT, Risk IT and VAL-IT)
• Boot camp review sessions to support our members pass ISACA’s certification exams (CISA, CISM, CGEIT & CRISC)
• On-line training service (via partner)
• Gain discount for our members on local conferences and training sessions
