ISACA Sydney Chapter strives to improve the expertise of our members by offering many development and training opportunities throughout the year.
We rely on our members to continue to implement ISACA's frameworks; and we are confident of the advantages their employers will gain from having skilled and certified employees, armed with good practice frameworks, in their organisation.
Utilisation and allocation of these skilled resources can lead to improvements in strategy, investment portfolio planning, capabilities and operational environments.

Now, more than ever, is the time to #PressforProgress. There is no doubt that we are witnessing a significant global movement in women’s equality. It’s time for the IT and cybersecurity sectors to accelerate this global momentum, as a call to action.
We recognise that progress is being made but, despite being in a skills shortage, women still represent only 11% of the technology workforce.
WHY GENDER DIVERSITY MATTERS TO ISACA
International Women’s Day belongs to all groups, to work collectively and #PressForProgress; the theme for International Women’s Day 2018.
As an industry-leading organisation who serves technology and cyber professionals around the world, ISACA has launched the SheLeadsTech initiative. Under this program, ISACA seeks to increase the representation of women in technology leadership roles, and the tech workforce overall.
SheLeadsTech has three pillars: raising awareness; preparing to lead; and building global alliances. ISACA Sydney Chapter is proud to further these objectives, both globally, and by holding this International Women’s Day event.
