On behalf of the UK & Ireland Chapters, the Central UK Chapter are running the following exam preparation courses:-
- CISA - Wednesday 3rd to Friday 5th May
- CRISC - Monday 22nd to Wednesday 24th May
- CISM - Monday 12th to Wednesday 14th June
The courses will all be held at Nuthurst Grange Hotel, Hockley Heath, Solihull, B94 5NL www.nuthurst-grange.co.uk. Which is about 5 minutes from Junction 4 of the M42 and about a 20 minute cab ride from Birmingham International Train Station (Virgin Trains West Coast Line).
The course utilises the official ISACA preparation course materials, covering all the Domains of each and we also provide hints and tips on passing the exam throughout the 3 days, spotting the likely answer to questions etc. We also use group case studies to reinforce the learning.
At the end of each Domain we go through some example exam questions, then on the last day, we do a mock half exam. This allows attendees to see where their strengths and weaknesses are in each Domain and where they need to do more revision. The mock exam also gives them an idea of timing, e.g. they normally find that they have much more time to answer each question then they thought.
We run and subsidise these courses as a benefit to our members, the cost of the course for ISACA members is £995 plus VAT and another person from the same organisation can attend the same course at no cost. The cost for non-members is £1,295 plus VAT.
The cost includes the course material in electronic form, refreshments and lunch for the 3 days. We also provide additional material which can be referred to after the course, to extend the attendees knowledge.
Just in case you don’t already know, the method of taking ISACA courses has changed from this year, moving from a paper based exam to a computer based exam. Also, the exam can now be taken anytime from 1st May to the 30th June. You chose which day to take the exam, most convenient for you.
If you are interested in attending one of these courses, then please book your place by sending an email to Mike Hughes
Also, if you are interested in attending one of these course in the future, or if you would like to attend a CGEIT course, then again please send Mike an email.
