Chapter Elections and Annual General Meeting3/21/2017 1:03 PM

Every ISACA Chapter is required to have an Annual General Meeting (AGM). The New Mexico Chapter’s AGM occurs in May of each year, and in 2017, it’s scheduled for May 31. Current members of New Mexico ISACA plus one guest may attend at no charge.

As a way of adding value to Chapter membership, and as a way of saying thank you to our members, we are also including one hour of CPE at this year’s AGM. Professor Matt Pickard will present an informative session on Predictive Analytics. Buzz words like predictive analytics, business intelligence, and big data are pervasive in today’s IT Audit and IT Security domains. This presentation will help you clarify the buzz words, discuss analytics gotchas and pitfalls, and provide practical examples of analytic techniques that can improve your decision making. This is also a preview of a day-long hands-on Data Analytics workshop coming in July. Watch this space for more details soon.

Please save the date – Wednesday, May 31, beginning at 5:15 PM – to network with your fellow New Mexico ISACA members and their guests and enjoy the flavors of the French Quarter at Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen. RSVP online through Eventbrite!
