Our transition to Computer-Based Testing (CBT) in 2017 for ISACA’s CISA, CRISC, CISM and CGEIT certifications is underway. Registration is open for the first exam testing window, which will be 1 May-30 June. Exam registration is available at www.isaca.org/examreg.
Exams will be offered in 2017 at PSI testing locations worldwide during three, eight-week testing windows. The second testing window will be 1 August-30 September, and the third window will be 1 November-31 December. Additional information can be found in the ISACA Exam Candidate Information Guide http://www.isaca.org/Certification/Pages/Candidates-Guide-for-Exams.aspx).
During the communications of the conversion to CBT, many questions have been asked by chapter leaders and ISACA members. As such, we have updated our FAQs to address these inquiries (http://www.isaca.org/Certification/Additional-Resources/Pages/CBT-FAQs.aspx). A copy of the FAQs can be found here.
Lastly, ISACA truly appreciates the chapters’ assistance in promoting the value of CBT. To summarize, the major benefits offered by CBT are the increased exam scheduling flexibility and decreased turnaround time for exam results. Candidates will receive a preliminary score report at the conclusion of their exam, and official scores will be sent to candidates via email within 10 working days of the exam.
