*ISACA Sacramento reserves the right to cancel review course in the event there is not enough interest garnered.

Attending and obtaining materials assumes the obligation to pay the full cost of the review course; partial attendance does not grant attendees the right to pro-rated reimbursement.

Let ISACA Sacramento assist you earn an ISACA certification - Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) and enhance your professional credibility.  Our Chapter is offering a CISM review course - Local, Affordable and Convenient Class Schedule. Up to 24 CPE may be earned!   CPE credits will be issued in accordance with the actual attendance by the attendees and the CPE guidelines defined by ISACA. 

Exams will be held between February 1, 2018  - May 24, 2018, or also offered later in the year between June 1, 2018 - September 23, 2018.

Adam German, CISSP, CISA,  is the Deputy Chief Information Security Officer for the California State Controller’s Office (SCO), where he has 10+ years’ experience working for the world’s sixth largest economy. Adam has extensive knowledge in the field of Information Security and his record of achievements demonstrate his success at leading, managing and delivering security solutions. Adam is a true security enthusiast who participates in multiple security forums, frequently volunteering his time.

Harry O'Laughlin, CISSP, CISM, is in his third year as the Chief Information Security Officer at the California Department of Insurance, where his role primarily centers around developing and maturing the Information Security Program within that agency. A career IT professional with over 30 years of experience, his focus on full-time Information Security started in 2007, when he accepted a position as the CISO for the Governor's Office of Emergency Services.

Mike Arakji, CISSP, CRISC, ISO27001-LI, SABSA-SCF, MS-DS, MS-CIS, MBA, BA, is a security professional with over 20 years of State Service in various positions in IT and Information Security and Privacy Compliance.  He is currently working as a lead Privacy Professional for xTerraLink to stand up a Privacy Program for one large State Agency.

Howard Duck, CISM, CISA, PCI ISA, PCIP,  has been an Information Security and Risk Manager at Schools Financial Credit Union since 2008 and in IT management at Schools Financial for 12 years.  He is an experienced leader with a diverse background in IT, security. His current responsibilities include member of the Information Security Committee, policy updates, assessment of IT security, manage services for external security assessments, Security Awareness training, and a variety of IT Audits.

Mr. Duck served in United States Marine Corps reserves for 28 years. He retired in 2010 at the rank of Master Gunnery Sergeant. He worked in the Logistics field as a Logistics Chief and he served in many leadership roles. Howard served in Operation Desert Shield/ Desert Storm during the Gulf War as well as Operation Enduring Eagle where he deployed to Djibouti, Africa in support of Joint Task Force Horn of Africa (JTF-HOA).
