Adam German, CISSP, CISA, is the Deputy Chief Information Security Officer for the California State Controller’s Office (SCO), where he has 10+ years’ experience working for the world’s sixth largest economy. Adam has extensive knowledge in the field of Information Security and his record of achievements demonstrate his success at leading, managing and delivering security solutions. Adam is a true security enthusiast who participates in multiple security forums, frequently volunteering his time.
Charles A Ritchie, CISSP, CISA, CISM, GSEC, GCED, GSNA, GCIH, is a multi-disciplinary security professional with over 35 years of infrastructure, operations, information security, and technical consulting experience. He is currently a Director of Information Security, leading a team of security professionals for a large defense/aerospace customer. In addition to his security qualifications, Mr. Ritchie has an MBA from Golden Gate University, is a Stanford Certified Project Manager, and holds the PMP, Network+, MCTS, and ITIL v3 Foundation certifications. Mr. Ritchie founded the MetaVista Consulting Group in 1995, which specialized in IT project and program management and technology consulting services for clients such as Wells Fargo, Barclays Global Investors, and numerous state government clients. He was recognized by ISACA for earning the highest score in the world on the December 2015 CISA examination.
David Kee, CISSP, CISA, CRISC, is a dedicated, performance and results-focused IT Security Professional with a background in Security Governance, Risk and Compliance Management, Network Security Architecture/Engineering/Consulting and over 28 years of IT experience, including 10+ directing large-scale LAN/WAN/Security projects for HP, EDS and their clients. He has managed multiple concurrent networks and security environments, leading up to 20 employees. David is an Adjunct Professor at William Jessup University, School of Business and has delivered CISSP Bootcamp and CISA Exam Preparation classes as a Freelance Instructor with The Knowledge Academy.
Harry O'Laughlin, CISSP, CISM, is in his third year as the Chief Information Security Officer at the California Department of Insurance, where his role primarily centers around developing and maturing the Information Security Program within that agency. A career IT professional with over 30 years of experience, his focus on full-time Information Security started in 2007, when he accepted a position as the CISO for the Governor's Office of Emergency Services.
Howard Duck, CISM, CISA, PCI ISA, PCIP, has been an Information Security and Risk Manager at Schools Financial Credit Union since 2008 and in IT management at Schools Financial for 12 years. He is an experienced leader with a diverse background in IT, security. His current responsibilities include member of the Information Security Committee, policy updates, assessment of IT security, manage services for external security assessments, Security Awareness training, and a variety of IT Audits.
Mr. Duck served in United States Marine Corps reserves for 28 years. He retired in 2010 at the rank of Master Gunnery Sergeant. He worked in the Logistics field as a Logistics Chief and he served in many leadership roles. Howard served in Operation Desert Shield/ Desert Storm during the Gulf War as well as Operation Enduring Eagle where he deployed to Djibouti, Africa in support of Joint Task Force Horn of Africa (JTF-HOA). Rami J. Zreikat, CIPP/IT, CISA, CISSP, CMC, ITIL v2, PAHM, PMP, CISM, is the President of xTerraLink, a company focused on Safeguarding Information Assets. Prior to founding his Technology and Services company, Rami spent the last 25 years as an IT professional developing enterprise mainframe applications, then moving into Client Server technology to deliver complex business solutions. Rami and his company recently were asked to work with Accenture as Accenture deploys a California state-wide Financial System. Rami’s company is overseeing the system’s Information Security compliance with the numerous Federal and State laws and regulations (HIPAA, PCI-DSS, IRS Publication 1075, and NACHA.). Prior to working with Accenture, Rami worked with the California Correctional Healthcare Services (CCHCS) implementing an Information Security Compliance program for the agency.
