Local and Internet CISA Review

The Kansas City ISACA chapter is hosting a review course for the December 2008 CISA Exam. The course will be based on ISACA's CISA Review Manual for 2008. The sessions will be held locally on the Webster University - Kansas City campus and presented at the same time in a webinar format over the Internet. Course materials provided include a hand-out of the review presentation slides and practice quizzes with answers. The session audio will be recorded and available subsequently for download by review participants allowing for self-paced study and/or review of the presentations.

The 9-week course will meet on Wednesday nights from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM Central time from Oct. 1st through Dec. 3rd. Registration fee is $100 for ISACA-KC and regional coop chapters' (Des Moines, OKC & MN) members and $125 for all others, plus $10 mailing fee for remote participants.

Fall 2008 CISA Review Course

The San Antonio/South Texas Chapter is once again offering its CISA Review Course. The course provides a comprehensive review of the roles and responsibilities of an Information Technology Auditor. It not only prepares students for passing the CISA examination, but also offers valuable training experience for newer Information Technology Auditors. The instructors are practicing professionals representing prominent companies in the San Antonio business community. These individuals will present the examination content needed to succeed, balanced with their real life experiences. The CISA Review Manual will be used as a text for the course, and each session will cover a section from the manual. In addition, course information provided by the international ISACA office will be included.

The 6-week course will meet on Saturday mornings from 7:30AM to 12:00PM.

NCAC CISA Review Course

The NCAC is sponsoring an Intensive 5-day Certified Information Systems Auditor™ (CISA®) Examination Study Course in preparation for the December 13, 2008 examination. The CISA® review course will provide instruction for the CISA exam format that consists of the six content areas defined by ISACA® International.
