COBIT 2019 Design and Implementation Exam 

 

Coming August 2019

The COBIT 2019 Design and Implementation Certificate Program looks at seven key areas: COBIT 2019 basic concepts; design factors for a governance system; impact of design factors; the governance system design workflow; implementation and optimizing I&T governance overview; governance implementation lifecycle; and key topics decision matrix.

Certificate candidates dive deeper into COBIT 2019 to learn more advance uses of the framework, such as designing a governance system and implementation. The exam tests the degree to which the candidates have understood the COBIT 2019 key concepts, the COBIT 2019 Design Guide and the COBIT 2019 Implementation Guide, and the degree to which the candidates can apply these concepts in (simulated) practice, how they analyze a governance-related problem and propose COBIT 2019–based solutions.

Note: You must have successfully completed the COBIT 2019 Foundation Certificate Exam to take the COBIT 2019 Design & Implementation Exam.

About the Exam

The COBIT 2019 Design & Implementation Certificate Exam is an online, closed-book, remotely proctored exam. The exam covers seven domains and includes a total of 60 multiple-choice questions designed to ascertain a candidate’s ability to apply the domain area content. The number of questions in each domain is based upon the domain’s assigned weight. The chart below details the domains and their assigned weights:

Exam takers will be given three hours (180 minutes) to complete the exam. Each multiple-choice question has four options with only one correct answer. A score of 60% or higher is required to pass the exam.  Candidates must have successfully passed the COBIT 2019 Foundation Certificate Exam to take the exam.

Exam registration is $275. Purchases are non-refundable or transferable. It is important that exam candidates first confirm access to the required technology to launch the exam before purchasing or scheduling the COBIT 2019 Design and Implementation Certificate Exam. Individuals holding an ISACA Certification (CISA/CISM/CRISC/CGEIT) may claim two CPE credits when a passing score is achieved.
