Rolling Meadows, IL, USA—A new online course utilizing the latest instructional techniques will provide a more flexible and portable option through which learners can prepare for the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) exam.
The CISA Online Review Course is a self-paced offering that allows learners to prepare for the exam at a time and location that suits their needs. The course – which takes about 24 hours to complete — was developed by ISACA, a global business technology professional association for IT audit and assurance, governance, risk, and information security professionals, and the provider of the CISA certification. The course keeps track of where learners last left off, and includes interactive content, a video, downloadable workbooks and job aids, case study activities and a practice exam.
The CISA designation is a globally recognized certification for IS audit, control, assurance and security professionals. More than 126,000 professionals have earned CISA designation since inception.
“The CISA Online Review Course is an exciting new tool to prepare learners for the CISA exam in a way that fits into their lifestyle and makes use of dynamic, interactive instructional techniques,” said Laureen Kaczmarek, Director of Training and Education for ISACA.
CISA Online Review Course learners also can benefit from strategies to help prepare for the CISA exam. Each of the course’s five sections contain individual modules related to IS audit domains and the CISA job practice:
- Process of auditing information systems

- Protection of information assets
“The course is part of ISACA’s ongoing commitment to provide our global constituents with more opportunities for quality online and on-demand learning,” said Christos Dimitriadis, Ph.D. CISA, CISM, CRISC, chair of ISACA’s Board of Directors and group director of Information Security for INTRALOT.
