ISACA now has chapters in over 100 countries
Schaumburg, IL, USA—Digital trust professionals have formed a new ISACA chapter in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The ISACA Bosnia and Herzegovina Chapter is starting with around 80 initial members. ISACA has also introduced two other new chapters this year in Doha, Qatar and Jackson, Mississippi, USA. ISACA, a global technology association serving more than 185,000 members in 188 countries in digital trust professions, now has a chapter presence in more than 100 countries worldwide.
“It has been a long journey. However, we believed that our persistence and dedication would one day turn our dream into reality – establishing an active and recognized ISACA Bosnia and Herzegovina Chapter,” said Aldina Bibović, President of the ISACA Bosnia and Herzegovina Chapter. “This milestone is an important step in our broader goal of aligning with EU standards and Euro-Atlantic values.”

One of the key objectives for the ISACA Bosnia and Herzegovina Chapter is to support Bosnia and Herzegovina’s integration with the European Union (EU) and to promote Euro-Atlantic values such as transparency, accountability, and good governance. Leveraging the board’s expertise along with ISACA’s global resources, the chapter aims to actively contribute to strengthening IT governance, cybersecurity, and information management in the country, while aligning with regional, EU, and international best practices.
“This is an excellent moment for the ISACA community in Bosnia and Herzegovina and for all professionals who will join us in the journey ahead,” said Haris Hamidović, Membership Director and Academic Relations Coordinator of the ISACA Bosnia and Herzegovina Chapter.
ISACA provides credentialing, education, guidance and community for digital trust professionals in areas including IT security, assurance, risk, governance, and privacy that will also benefit the local business community, government and universities. The association also offers frameworks including COBIT, the Digital Trust Ecosystem Framework, and CMMI.
