Event will offer sneak peek into upcoming virtual summit for students, as well as inspiration for early career journeys
Schaumburg, IL, USA—For many students, the gap between the classroom and the workplace seems massive. This transition can feel a little more manageable, though, with the expert-led sessions, career guidance, networking opportunities, and practical resources found in next year’s 2027 ISACA Student Summit. This virtual event—and a pre-summit preview webinar—will provide students and recent graduates with support pursuing a range of careers as they transition from classroom learning to the professional workforce.
While the ISACA Student Summit will take place 25-26 February, attendees can get an early glimpse into the event and some advance professional insights during the ISACA webinar, “Student Summit Preview Webinar,” happening 22 October.
This free webinar, open to all, will describe what attendees can expect from the ISACA Student Summit 2027, including session topics, networking opportunities, and career-focused resources. During the two-hour-long webinar, students and recent graduates can learn how they can use the summit experience to support their transition from academic learning to the professional workforce, as well as identify key career pathways and professional opportunities available through ISACA and the broader digital trust community.
Emcee and ISACA Workforce Advancement Advisory Group member Kehinde Femi-Adeleye will kick off the webinar, and ISACA CEO Erik Prusch will continue with opening remarks, followed by these three dynamic sessions and closing keynote:
- “From Learning to Leading: A Student’s Path to Professional Growth,” with Noah Jose, a graduate student at Louisiana Tech University
- “Future-Ready Careers: Preparing for What’s Next,” with Jeff Angle, ISACA vice president, global academia education and workforce development, and Charlene Cooper, Cyber.org executive director – Cyber Innovation Center
- “Get Involved, Get Ready: Connecting Campus Life to Career Success,” featuring a diverse group of speakers, including a faculty advisor, chapter members, and student group leaders
- Closing keynote “The Future is Yours to Code,” with Esther van Egerschot

These sessions will provide just a taste of what is to come at the upcoming 2027 ISACA Student Summit, which will bring a diverse set of speakers together over the two days with content designed to help students and new professionals navigate their career journeys.
