Caterpillar Foundation
United States Workforce Development Initiative
- Grant Purpose: Upskill and reskill learners for careers in information technology through community-based workforce development programs.
- ISACA's Role: Designed the program, recruited participants, partnered with local organizations, accredited instructors, and provided learning materials and certification exam vouchers.
- Outcomes: The program expanded to nine cities, with approximately 500 participants gaining industry-recognized credentials at no cost.
U.S. Department of Labor
Zimbabwe Workforce Development Initiative
- Purpose: Expand workforce opportunities by providing community members with technology training and access to industry-recognized credentials.
- ISACA's Role: Delivered industry-recognized credentials, connected participants with industry experts, and worked with accredited local instructors to build long-term capacity.
- Outcomes: Forty participants completed training in blockchain, artificial intelligence, cloud, and the Internet of Things (IoT), earning 20 industry-recognized credentials.
