
IT Audit Director
An Audit Director is responsible for overseeing the development and execution of the annual audit plan, monitoring and adjusting the audit plan for emerging risk in cooperation with the appropriate stakeholders, and ensuring the audit plan is approved by the Audit Committee. Audit Directors are also tasked with recruiting and hiring qualified audit staff, managing the audit department’s financial budget, and ensuring that audit activities are conducted efficiently and effectively. Additionally, the Audit Director provides strategic direction for the audit function, monitors and evaluates audit processes, and communicates key findings and recommendations to senior management and the audit committee.
