
IT Audit Manager
An IT Audit Manager is responsible for managing multiple engagements simultaneously in various stages of completion and has overall responsibility for pre-planning, planning, fieldwork, and reporting phases of the engagement. The Audit Manager is also responsible for ensuring that IT control strengths, weaknesses, and gaps have been documented, IT control methodologies have been applied, and all engagement workpapers have been properly evaluated and address the stated engagement objectives. Additionally, the IT Audit Manager supports the audit staff in the execution of day-to-day audits, approves the audit plan, recommends solutions to audit findings, leads audit closing meetings with the client and assesses the reasonableness of audit issue resolution. Finally, the IT Audit Manager works to train, mentor, recruit, and retain audit team members.
