Dear Members,

On behalf of the Board, I would like to wish all our members happy holidays and successful 2018.

This time of the year many of us reflect upon the past year and make plans or resolutions for the next year.

In 2017 your Chapter has continued growing in number of members, quantity and quality of events, and innovation in programing and outreach.

We were fortunate to add to our Board several outstanding individuals, who contributed their leadership, ideas, and passion to achieve and exceed our goals. In fact, the most of key Board Committee Chairs were elected to the Board in 2016-2017.

In order to continue offering our members quality and innovative programming, preparation help to achieve ISACA certifications, professional and social networking opportunities, we need leaders who would help to shape and implement our plans and run the Chapter.

This time of the year we are also reaching out to our membership and asking to consider running for a seat on the Chapter Board of Directors.

You will find a Call for Action from our Nominating Committee below.

Please consider serving on the Board; giving back to the profession, ISACA community; and getting an opportunity for leadership and shaping our chapter. Please feel free reaching out to me at President@isacany.org with any questions you may have about this opportunity.

Thank you,

Alexander Abramov,

President, ISACA New York Metropolitan Chapter

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer opportunities arise periodically, and change from time to time, for both ISACA and the local Chapter (New York Metropolitan).  ISACA and the Chapter have separate opportunity channels, each with its own information webpages and application forms and processes.

ISACA's current volunteer opportunities and applications are available on ISACA's volunteer webpages.

The Chapter's typical volunteer tasks are listed on the Chapter's volunteer webpage.  After reviewing the Chapter's typical tasks, email information about your interest to volunteer@isacany.org.  When you register to volunteer for the Chapter, specific opportunities available at that time will be presented.
