Successfully complete the AAISM examination

The AAISM exam is open to active CISM holders and CISSP certification holders. When you take the AAISM exam, we will send you your results, and if you pass, you will receive the details you need to apply for your AAISM certification. Candidates have five years from the passing date to apply for certification.

Maintain and hold an active qualifying certification

Candidates must hold an active CISM or CISSP certification.

Earn & report CPE hours

Once a candidate has been certified they will need to earn and report CPE starting the calendar year after they receive the certification. 10 hours of CPE in the specialized domain of Artificial Intelligence (AI) will be required annually. If these CPEs satisfy the requirements for other ISACA certifications, they may also count toward those designations.

Adhere to the Code of Professional Ethics

Members of ISACA and/or holders of the AAISM designation agree to a Code of Professional Ethics to guide professional and personal conduct.
