Track 1: COBIT 5 Foundation Track

COBIT Training Session and Speaker

COBIT 5 Foundation Track to be led by Okanlawon Zachy Olorunojowon, CISA, CGEIT

Developed for anyone interested in obtaining foundations-level knowledge of COBIT, the course explains the COBIT framework and supporting materials in a logical and example-driven approach.

  • Earn the COBIT 5 Foundations Certificate! Attendees can take the Foundations Exam the day after the conference for an additional US $150!
  • The COBIT 5 Foundations Exam will begin promptly at 8:00AM on Monday, 2 May, 2016. Please be sure to arrive early; doors will open at 7:30AM.

Session:

Delve into the essential components of COBIT 5 to learn how it covers the business end-to-end and helps you effectively govern and manage enterprise IT. Developed for anyone interested in obtaining foundations-level knowledge of COBIT, the course explains the COBIT framework and supporting materials in a logical and example-driven approach. *CPE Credits are calculated based on the number of active hours of participation.

Track 2: Actionable Insights, Tools and Practical Guidance

Continuing Professional Education Credits

To maintain ISACA certifications, certification holders are required to earn 120 CPE credit hours over a three-year period in accordance with ISACA’s continuing professional education (CPE) policy. Attendees can earn up to 14 CPE credits by attending the COBIT Conference. ISACA conferences are Group Live and do not require any advanced preparation.

ISACA is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its web site: www.learningmarket.org.

Please note that the session scanners at the Conference do not track CPE credit hours. You will still need to allocate your CPE hours in “My ISACA” following the conference. Your CPE Certificate of Attendance will be emailed to you four to six weeks following the conference.

*Registration submissions for this conference and any additional workshops are not processed, and a seat is not confirmed or reserved, until full payment is received. All submissions not paid in full will be placed on a waitlist and priority will be given to paid registrants in a payment first-come, first-serve basis. Space is limited, so it is highly recommended that payment is provided at the time of submission to guarantee a seat within the conference and all related events.

Registration rate is determined based on the date payment is received by ISACA HQ and current membership status. Please plan accordingly, as it may take 10 or more business days for a wire transfer or mailed check to reach ISACA. Should we receive payment after a registration rate deadline, your account will be adjusted to reflect the current due amount. Entrance to the conference and all related events is contingent upon full payment.

All fees are quoted in US dollars. The entire registration fee must be received by ISACA before your registration will be considered paid in full.

Government Discounts

ISACA offers a conference registration discount to government employees. The government employee discount will be applied toward the main conference registration and is not applicable toward any pre- or post-conference workshops. Cancellation Policy

If your plans change and you won’t be able to attend the conference and/or workshop, contact us by phone, fax or e-mail to cancel your registration. All cancellations must be received by 1 April 2016 to receive a refund of registration fees. A cancellation charge of US $100 will be subtracted from conference refunds, and US $50 from workshop refunds. No refunds can be given after 1 April 2016. Attendee substitution is permitted at any time until the conference. If a non-member is substituting a member, then there will be additional non-member fees.

NOTE: Registration is contingent upon full payment of the registration fee. To guarantee registration, conference fees must be received by the published deadline. It may take 10 or more business days for a wire transfer or mailed check to reach ISACA, so please plan accordingly. If, for any reason, ISACA must cancel a course or event, liability is limited solely to the registration fees paid.
