It seems that every time I read a newspaper there is an article complaining that artificial intelligence (AI) is going to ruin everything. It is a threat to our children’s health, our mental stability, civilization as we know it, and maybe humanity itself. I happen to be more optimistic (or maybe just complacent). I think AI can do a lot of good and that we will learn to live with its risks as we have with the impact of personal computers...
