ISACA’s Global Achievement Awards recognize technology professionals in the areas of IT audit, risk, governance, privacy, and cybersecurity for their accomplishments and contributions to the professional tech community. The recipients of the 2026 Global Achievement Awards, Chapter Awards, Certification Exam Top Scores, and the 2026 class of the Hall of Fame will be recognized at the ISACA Awards Celebration in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, on Thursday, 7 May, during ISACA’s 2026 North America Conference. Mercy Omollo, CISA, CRISC, CDPSE, Director IT & Digital Transformation, ISUZU East Africa
The 2026 ISACA Technology for Humanity Award recipient is Mercy Omollo. Mercy is receiving this award for leadership in bridging cybersecurity access across continents and empowering underrepresented women through inclusive tech education and advocacy.
“Winning the ISACA Technology for Humanity Award has been both humbling and deeply affirming of mine and ISACA Kenya Chapter’s commitment to expanding access to cybersecurity and digital opportunities for underserved communities, especially women and youth,” says Mercy. “Personally, it reinforces my belief that inclusive tech education can transform lives and bridge systemic gaps whilst reinforcing that I am doing the right thing. Professionally, it validates the impact of collaborative initiatives through partnerships like the AUDA-NEPAD-sponsored IGNITE Program in building skills, mentorship, and entrepreneurial pathways. It also strengthens my resolve to scale these efforts and continue driving inclusive digital transformation across communities.”
Pongpisit Wuttidittachotti, CISA, CISM, CRISC, CGEIT, CDPSE, Associate Professor at King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok
The 2026 ISACA Educational Excellence Award recipient is Pongpisit Wuttidittachotti. Pongpisit is receiving this award for over two decades of profound contributions to GRC and cybersecurity education, empowering future leaders, and strengthening enduring collaboration between academia and industry.
“Winning the ISACA Educational Excellence Award represents both recognition and responsibility,” says Pongpisit. “Personally, it reflects a long-term commitment to GRC and cybersecurity education, as well as to developing future professionals and building a sustainable digital ecosystem. Professionally, it validates the importance of integrating academic rigor with industry practice to address national priorities. More importantly, it reinforces my commitment to strengthening national digital resilience by translating knowledge into practical, impactful systems.”
Sushila Nair, CISA, CISM, CRISC, CDPSE, AAIA, AAISM CEO, Cybernetic, LLC
The 2026 ISACA Inspirational Leadership Award recipient is Sushila Nair. Sushila is receiving this award for contributions to global cybersecurity advancement, volunteer empowerment, and transforming ISACA Greater Washington, DC Chapter into a post-pandemic model of excellence.
“This recognition brings me genuine joy, and I accept it with deep gratitude — not just for myself, but on behalf of the remarkable people I have the privilege of working with every day,” says Sushila. “Great leadership is never a solo act. Being honored in this way also strengthens my desire to give back, to create opportunities for emerging professionals, and to help shape the next generation of leaders in our field.”
