Opening keynote speaker: Debra Searle

Debra is a professional adventurer and serial entrepreneur. Her expeditions have taken her across the Atlantic, around Antarctica, up to the Arctic Circle and everywhere in between. She has also launched five companies, is a published author, has presented for the BBC and is a trusted corporate speaker. The movie of Debra’s story of rowing solo across the Atlantic after her husband was rescued is currently in development in Hollywood.

Thursday keynote speaker: Dr. Tapiwa Chiwewe

Dr. Tapiwa Chiwewe is a distinguished technologist and thought leader in the areas of artificial intelligence, robotics and virtual reality, and is a passionate advocate for using technology to solve real-world problems. He is the founder and managing director of Omnien and currently serves as an adjunct faculty member at GIBS (Gordon Institute of Business Science) and Principal Artificial Intelligence Specialist at the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research. Tapiwa earned his PhD in computer engineering from the University of Pretoria and holds the title of Senior Member within the IEEE.

Closing keynote speaker: Keren Elazari

Born and raised in Tel Aviv, Israel, Keren Elazari is an internationally recognized security analyst, researcher, author and speaker who works with security firms, government organizations, and Fortune 500 companies on emerging security technologies and trends. She is the founder of two nonprofit organizations, BSidesTLV, Israel’s largest hacker community, and Cyber Ladies network, and was the first Israeli woman to speak on the main stage of the international TED Conference. Keren holds a CISSP certification and a master’s degree in security studies. She is currently a senior researcher at Tel Aviv University’s Interdisciplinary Cyber Research Center.
