This course builds upon existing IT risk best practices and focuses on validating expertise necessary to identify and evaluate AI risk for responsible enterprise adoption. Enrollment includes the AAIR Review Manual, ebook edition, AAIR Questions, Answers and Explanations Database (QAE) as well as the exam cost.

Attendance and CPE credits
Each AAIR workshop qualifies for up to 16 hours of CPE credit. One hour of CPE is earned for every 50 minutes of live attendance. This workshop must be attended live to earn CPE credit. On-Demand programming will NOT be available for this program. Please allow 48 hours for the Review Manual, QAE, and the Exam Registration to appear in MyISACA Resources and Learning Access.
Attendees will receive session links, course materials and presentations the week prior to the live event to the email used with registration.

Course objectives
Upon completion of the AI Risk virtual workshop, participants will earn 16 CPE credits learning how to adapt to an evolving AI security landscape. Participants will develop a deep understanding of topics and learn to:
- Analyze risks associated with AI models and data, including design flaws, algorithmic bias, data integrity, drift, and evolving operational behavior.
- Embed AI risk considerations into enterprise risk management programs, governance frameworks, and cross‑functional workflows.
- Conduct AI-specific risk assessments, classify threats, and recommend targeted treatment strategies.
- Navigate AI‑relevant legal, regulatory, and ethical expectations, including transparency, safety, fairness, accountability, and responsible use.
- Implement monitoring and oversight of AI controls, interpret risk metrics, and communicate insights to decision‑makers.
- Incorporate AI risks into enterprise incident response, business impact analysis, continuity planning, and supply chain evaluations.
